EBeauty Community is proud to introduce our partner Eivind and Hans of Georgetown Salon and Spa, in supporting The EBeauty Wig Exchange.
Since 1972, award-winning Lucien et Eivind has become known as one of the best hair salons in D.C. with great word of mouth contributing to its considerable reputation among Washingtonians. Today the newly remodeled and renamed Eivind and Hans of Georgetown Salon and Spa features the highest quality hair and skin products and specializes in hair replacement and wigs for men, women and children. Longtime owner Eivind Bjerke and co-owner Hans Kalset are helping those suffering through hair loss from chemo by navigating the large variety of choices available to them. “Our expertise in hair replacement, including award-winning services for cancer patients, offers confidence and a truly positive self-image for those experiencing hair losses from chemotherapy.” explains Hans.
Eivind and Hans stress the importance of experienced consultation and open communication with clients and they offer individualized selection and styling and personally work with cancer organizations to help cancer patients achieve a positive self-image during treatment. Eivind has been volunteering with Look Good…Feel Better – a national program that helps cancer patients to deal with the outward side effects of treatment – for over twenty years. Hans has been donating his time and expertise to the program for more than a decade, and runs a Look Good…Feel better workshop at Georgetown’s Lombardi Cancer center each month and in addition to a variety of other programs throughout the region.
EBeauty is much honored to have both Eivind and Hans providing their expert advice to the EBeauty Community as well as helping clean and refurbish our wigs.
