Recap: Fashion’s Fight Against MS

The 2nd Annual Fashion’s Fight Against MS was held this past Monday at The Liason Capitol Hill boutique hotel. Last year the event was hosted by honorary chair, Tommy Hilfiger whose sister was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. His clothing line was displayed on the runway. This year the fashion show displayed the NAHM clothing line which is a new fashion line combining the designs of Ally Hilfiger and Nary Manivong. Model, Shannon Rusbuldt, was this years host.
The night started off with an hour of mingling through a silent auction with cocktails and hor d’ouevres. Some of the more notable things in this years silent auction was a guitar signed by Lady Gaga and jerseys signed by Alex Ovechkin and Cal Ripkin.
Following the silent auction was the fashion show, which was a complete success. After the fashion, everyone exited to the hallway to grab their giftbags and then headed upstairs to the poolside rooftop after party. The unseasonably warm weather made this the perfect end to the perfect night.
All the proceeds to the night went to The National MS Society, National Capital Chapter.
